The mission of the Computer Science & Engineering Department of
CE Cherthala is to generate high caliber computer engineers to meet the global demands. The CSE Department of CEC
offers premier professional training with an eye on the modern development in Computer Science offering 4-year B.Tech
degree course in Computer Science and Engineering. The department owns versatile and powerful computing facilities.
The curriculum is harmonically tuned with today's hardware and software industry. The widely spaced subjects are –
automata theory, compiler construction, programming languages, database management systems, data structures, computer
networks, operating systems, software engineering, object-oriented programming, Electronic Circuits and digital
electronics, Micro Processors, computer graphics, algorithms, artificial intelligence, security in computing.
Apart from these the curriculum also includes electives.

Management Quota: 45%
NRI Quota: 5%
Both merit and management quota will be filled based on the rank list in the state common entrance test conducted by Govt of Kerala.
